Perrette Dairy and store Head Office was located at 999 St. Martin Blvd from mid-seventies until they closed middle 90's. The dairy operation was both fluid milk and ice cream production.

The company was owned by the Bazos family who also owned the Beckers chain of depanneurs in Ontario. From 1977 to 1980 Perrette was operating about 230 depanneurs in Quebec and about 500 Beckers in Ontario. The front part of the building at 999 St. Martin Blvd is now a "Vieux Duluth" restaurant. - Information : Tim Walsh, collector

" Puretest Dairy " would have started to sell dairy products using the name " Perrette "

In the Lovell's 1962-1963, we can see this dairy with the name :
Perrette Dairy, Gérard Rioux mgr. 391 Labelle Blvd.  Tel : 681-0038

Entre 1963 et 1967, il n'y avait pas d'annuaires Lovell's à Laval. Donc, ce n'est pas à l'aide des Lovell's que nous trouverons avec précision en quelle année la laiterie fut déménagée sur le boul. Saint-Martin. Lorsque les Lovell's reviennent en 1968, nous retrouvons cette laiterie mais elle est maintenant située au 999, boul. Saint-Martin Ouest. Elle y apparaît jusqu'en 1995 et nous pouvons constater qu'elle partage cette adresse avec la Laiterie Puretest Ltée. Son numéro de téléphone est le 669-0219.
